Jeff Jackson

Jeff founded Aptius in 2003 to offer an integrated health and fitness service to everyone with a commitment to enhanced wellbeing. His eight-year stint as an oceanographer carries over into his personal training methods in the form of a more scientific approach, based on the latest exercise research.

Jeff specializes in running-based personal training, working with clients of all standards and ages. He has guided dozens of runners from first steps through to fun runs, competitions, and even marathons.

Jeff also works with individuals and teams to enhance team sport performance. He has a sporting CV that includes Ultimate (as a member of the British team from 1990-2004, and now a coach educator for the UKUA), rugby union, tennis and badminton.

Georgina Hollings

Georgie has a strong sporting background in both rowing - she competes for Thames Rowing Club - and athletics. Her approach to personal training is a balanced one, emphasizing the importance of good nutrition and sports massage therapy in concert with traditional training methods.

As a personal trainer she specializes in sport-specific workouts, injury rehabilitaion (as well as strengthening exercises designed to prevent injuries occuring), and free weight training. Years of early morning rowing have honed Georgie's motivational skills - she excels in helping everyone to perform to the best of their potential.

Carol Wood

Carol has been working as a freelance personal trainer since 2002, having formerly worked in property development. Carol's busy lifestyle combines freelance personal training with the responsibilities of a family, so she understands the difficulty of fitting exercise into a hectic schedule. She specializes in pre- and post-natal training, circuit-style outdoor sessions, and core stability work. She also has a strong personal interest in skiing and tennis conditioning.

Her easy-going, sunny personality often causes clients to underestimate just how hard they're being worked!

Gregory Hollings

Greg is commited to coach people to health and well being through the holistic application of exercise, whole food eating, stress management and lifestyle factors. Greg creates individualised health and vitality programs based on sound , tried and tested health principles. He strongly believes in building health and energy on an easy to manage, step by step basis.

Sam Hodgson

Sam is an Exercise and Health graduate from Oxford Brookes University, who competed at an international level for their rowing squad. Most recently, he completed the CHEK Exercise Coach award, which involves looking at the body and assessing it as a whole, to address any imbalances or problems an individual may have.

Having previously worked in gyms, he feels that a one-to-one approach helps his clients to achieve their goals quicker and with an improved sense of confidence. He specializes in working with athletes to increase performance in their sporting fields, but this approach can be applied to any club member wanting to gain that competitive edge.
